Click the “Go Live” button at the bottom-right-hand corner of VSCode to start a server on port 5500. This will also prompt your browser to open a new window/tab that loads your index.html file. Use VSCode to create a new file called index.html and place the code below inside. Since I’m on a mac, I’ll be using terminal. Once opened, you should see a blinking command prompt.

My editor of choice is Atom, an open source editor built by GitHub, but there are many alternatives available today. For the purposes of this tutorial, however, I’m going to stick with Atom. Even when not using a template, I find that Windows and Linux both install much faster from an ISO on the network than they do from DVD.

Once a Blueprint has been developed and proven reliable, the code, and everything surrounding it doesn’t change unless the owner wants it to. The only chance for error would be from incorrect info entered when using the Blueprint, which is minimal since very little information is required to be entered manually.
